Due to the fact that power consumption varies drastically across each application, a fully involved Power Quality Analyzer (PQA) test must be completed initially to fully understand the application and how it uses energy. Next, GenPower must conduct a solar full-site evaluation to determine how much energy is available and can be used from the sun. This is what is known as the exact irradiation value of the property in which a solar application can function. This is typically where contractors use a national sun hour average to calculate solar production. The problem with that is each site is unique much like its electrical consumption.

...The system you built for us got us through 3 1/2 cloudy / rainy days at a time in KW without running the generator, although the core voltage was getting further down each day. We still never operated it below about 60 to 70%. On the 4th day we were going to run the gennie, but sun came back out!
We really got by fine without wind gennie, but that would take you into the evening after sun is too low to produce pvs. The solar batteries actually improved as they were used more.
